Take the Junior B.A.R.K Ranger Challenge

Junior B.A.R.K. Rangers know how to keep our parks safe and enjoyable for everyone. Review the rules below and then complete the activity to earn your virtual Junior B.A.R.K. Ranger badge.

B - Bag your pet's waste
Help keep the park clean by collecting and disposing of all pet waste.

A - Always keep your pet on a leash
For the safety and comfort of all the park's visitors, pets must be restrained on a leash no longer than 6 feet.

R - Respect wildlife
Please keep your pet at a respectful distance from any wildlife or other pets you may encounter.

K - Know where you can go
Pets are not allowed inside public buildings, unless a designated service animal.

Instructions

1. Print the picture below (right-click on it to save it) OR get a pencil and piece of paper handy.
2. Look for piles of dog waste (poop) in the picture. Find up to eight (8) piles.
3. When you see a pile of waste, circle it on the printed page OR write down where you saw it in the picture.
4. Compare your observations with the answers hidden in the drop down bar below.

There are eight (8) piles of waste hidden in the picture:
1. In the cloud on the left
2. In the bottom cloud on the right
3. In the blue sky above the top cloud on the right
4. In the base of the tree on the right
5. In the middle of the other tree on the right
6. In the middle of the tree on the left
7. In the top of the other tree on the left
8. In the green grass between the two trees
