At the Midwest Archeological Center, archeologists travel to National Park sites across the country and work to discover, document, and preserve the past. These pages illustrate some of the most common activities archeologists do – like mapping artifacts or other evidence we find of people in the past, discovering sites with remote sensing technology, and excavating sites.
