Country roads, take us home… to Autumn in the Appalachian Forest National Heritage Area! The heritage area has a cornucopia of fall events planned for the season, including a scary wagon-ride through a bog and sorghum juice tasting in Purgitsville; the inaugural beer, wine, cocktails and award-winning food event called “Fall Flavors of Appalachia,” in Greenbrier, and the 53rd annual Autumn Glory Festival in Oakland, MD.
From scary wagon rides, to driving tours with spectacular views of foliage, seasonal cuisine, and of course, old-time traditional music, this NHA will keep you cozy all season.
