The Appalachian Trail Conservancy is a not-for-profit organization who's mission is to preserve and manage the Appalachian Trail. They are NPS's main partner when it comes to management of the trail, helping accomplish a variety of projects and provide a number of services that otherwise would not be possible.

Help support the Appalachian Trail by:


Monetary donations are graciously accepted and directly benefit the park. These funds are used for interpretation, visitor services and safety, as well as resource management programs. If desired, those making a donation may specify a use for their money. Donations may be made by check or money order made payable to "National Park Service."
