Visitor Centers

 

This park has two distinct districts which are located approximately 3 hours apart. Please check the activities at each district prior to travel and get the appropriate directions.

2024 Summer Season Hours

North District-Yellowtail Dam Visitor Center, Fort Smith, MT

The Yellowtail Dam Visitor Center will be closed for the 2024 season due to low staffing and road projects. We hope to reopen for Summer 2025. We apologize for any inconvenience.

South District-Cal Taggart Visitor Center, Lovell, WY

Begining Memorial Day Weekend, the Lovell Visitor Center will be open seven days a week, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
