Location: On the Tioga Road (Highway 120), about 45 minutes north of Yosemite Valley
Elevation: 6,300 ft (1,900 m)

Open: Late June through September (approximately) (check for this year's estimated opening and closing dates)
Reservations: No
Cost: $10/night for each campsite (maximum 6 people per site)
Number of sites: 52
RV length: RVs not recommended
Trailer length: Trailers not recommended

Dump station: Yosemite Valley (Upper Pines Campground) or Tuolumne Meadows Campground
Groceries: Small grocery store at Crane Flat, about 15 minutes away
Showers: Yosemite Valley (Curry Village and Housekeeping Camp)
Pets: Not permitted (learn more about pet regulations)

Each campsite contains a fire ring, picnic table, and food locker [33"(D)x45"(W)x18"(H)], and is near a vault toilet. Stream water must be treated (by boiling, using a filter, or using iodine). No potable water available.

 
You are required to store food properly in order to protect Yosemite's bears. Learn more about bears, proper food storage, and food lockers.
