Coyote
Canis latrans

I've noticed more coyotes in recent weeks in the forest areas near Hodgdon Meadow Campground. This has mainly been during early morning hours. Both parents are involved in training the pups to hunt and care for themselves. Typical packs consist of six closely related adults, yearlings and young.
