  • Wrangell-St. Elias Visitor Center Switching to Fall Hours on Sept. 20th

    Wrangell-St Elias's main visitor center, located near Copper Center, AK, is on fall hours starting September 20th. The fall hours of operation are Mon.-Fri. 9:00 am-4:00 pm, closed on federal holidays.

We are always happy to add another name to our Junior Ranger team. We invite YOU to become a member of this very special group of people. When you take the time to learn about the park and its valuable resources, you will be able to share your knowledge with friends and family to help them understand why Wrangell-St. Elias National Park is a special place.

It's simple and fun, and you get a great badge to show off to all your friends. Just click on the workbook below and print out the pages. Complete the activities, answer the questions, and mail it to us. A Park Ranger will carefully review your answers and see if you qualify. All of the information you need to answer these questions is located somewhere in the park's web site.
