Maps Activities: Join Ranger Steve and learn more about the area surrounding Theatre-in-the Woods.

History and Place of the National Park Service: Join Ranger Sam for a quick history and review of places that are part of the National Park Service.

Bugs in the Park: Join Ranger Anna in an insect adventure and learn why bugs are important, even if we might not like them. (only available Saturdays)

Connections Everywhere: Join Ranger Anna in a fun interactive exploration of how everything in the park is connected. (only available Saturdays)

Two different Ranger Programs are offered at 11:45 am and 12:00 pm, every Tuesday through Saturday* during our Children's Theatre-in-the-Woods season. Programs meet at the kiosk in the meadow and are about 20 minutes in length. Check the information board at the footbridge or call (703) 255-1824 to find out which Ranger Programs will be available on the day of your visit. Programs are free and recommended for kids five and older.

*Ranger programs are canceled for rain or if the day has been determined to have "Code Red" Air Quality.
