The public is invited to submit copies of their favorite “snapshot” for exhibition at the Whiskeytown National Recreation Area Visitor Center. Friends of Whiskeytown, in cooperation with the National Park Service, is asking the public to submit amateur photographs of “park-people-scapes”: snapshots of themselves, their families, and friends picnicking, swimming, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, boating, running, reading…any activity they enjoy at Whiskeytown. The Friends of Whiskeytown will present an exhibit at the Visitor Center of photos showing community members participating in the wide range of activities Whiskeytown offers. Beginning Saturday, June 2nd, and running through mid-summer, July 9th, this exhibition promises to be fun.

Photographs must be:

5”X7” in size. Color or black & white.
