  • High Water Alert

    Due to excessive amounts of rain fall, lake levels within the park have been rising. Caution! This has placed all park docks and some launch ramps underwater making for hazardous conditions. Some reservable sites have been closed until further notice. More »

Operating Hours & Seasons

Voyageurs National Park is open year-round.

During the warm months of summer the park is a destination for people who enjoy exploring by boat or hiking by land. The interconnected waterways and miles of shoreline offer unparalleled opportunities.

During the northern winters the park is transformed into a world of white. Frozen lake surfaces provide access to people on snowmobiles, while trails through the forest welcome those exploring on snowshoe or cross-country ski.

 

Summer Hours
The Voyageurs National Park visitor centers will begin their summer hours starting Saturday, May 24th, 2014. Each visitor center will be open 7 days a week.
