Island weather is unpredictable. Visitors should be prepared for plenty of sun and/or rain on any given day. Layered clothing is recommended to ensure comfort in dealing with the variable weather.

In Honolulu, daytime temperatures average in the upper 80s (°F) in the summer and around 80°F in the winter. Nighttime temperatures can be about 10 degrees cooler. The wettest months are from November through March, with an average yearly rainfall of 22 inches.
