Public transportation will bring you into the area but there is no public transportation to sites within the river valley.

BUS
ShortLine Bus provides daily service from the New York City area to Port Jervis, Middletown, and Monticello NY.  Seasonal service is available to Honesdale, Milford, and Matamoras PA.

COMMUTER TRAIN
New Jersey Transit provides passenger train service from the New York Cit area to Port Jervis NY.

As part of the National Wild and Scenic Rivers System, Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River stretches 73.4 miles along the New York – Pennsylvania border. The Upper Delaware is one of the longest cleanest free flowing (undammed) rivers in the Eastern United States.
