Visitor Center Open

The Tule Lake National Monument is open for the summer season.

Due to the historic nature of the both the Jail at the Tule Lake Segregation and Camp Tulelake,access to these areas are only available with a ranger guided tour. Tours of the historic jail are available daily Thursday through Monday and begin at the Visitor Center. Camp Tulelake tours are currently not offered as the site undergoes restoration work. Tours at other times and for large groups can be requested 2 weeks in advance by calling (530) 664-4015.

 

Air Quality

On days when air quality reaches ‘Hazardous”, i.e. over 301 AQI, all non-emergency outdoor activities must stop, and moved to an indoor setting.
