USPP Seeks Two Persons of Interest

Date: March 15, 2016

Washington –On March 3, 2016, the United States Park Police received a report of an attempted abduction at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.A group was leaving the north entrance of the museum when a white male grabbed the hand of one of the children.After walking a few steps with the child, one of the chaperones took notice and yelled at the man to leave the child alone.The man is then believed to have boarded a white shuttle bus in the 600 Block of Jefferson Drive SW.

The United States Park Police is seeking the help of the public.There are two videos attached to this email depicting two persons of interest in this case.The first is described as a white male with brown hair and is reported to speak with an accent.The second is a white mile with grey hair and is described as heavyset.We are asking any bus companies that had a drop off or pick up between 10 and 11 am on that date to call.
