Builder: American Car and Foundry, 1923. Series 933-1168. Each car carried 78 passengers. These coaches were among 223 passenger coaches ordered by the railroad from several manufacturers in the early and mid-1920s. Cars purchased from the CNJ by Steamtown Foundation mid-1975. Went to Bellows Falls, VT then moved to Scranton, PA in 1984-1985. Some are operational and used on Steamtown NHS excursion train.

Suburban Coach. #1062, #1152. Class: PB. Number 1062 built by Standard Steel in 1923 and #1152 built in 1925. Series 933-1168. Seating capacity: 78. History is the same as others listed above. The 1152 is used on Steamtown NHS excursion train.

Electric Passenger Car. A.A.R. Class: EP. Builder: Pullman Car and Manufacturing Co., 1930. Seating capacity: 84. Series: 2500-2640.
Equipped with a pair of roof pantagraphs that when raised drew electric power from overhead wires. Car pulled electric trailer coaches. Operated by a motorman. The DL&W was the last major railroad to electrify its commuter operations, 1930-1931. Renumbered to 3505 after merger with Erie created the Erie-Lackawanna Railroad. Retained No. 3505 through service with the E-L, Conrail and New Jersey Transit Authority. New Jersey Transit donated the car to a museum in Scranton, then turned over to Steamtown Foundation.

Electric Passenger Trailer, No. 681 and No. 705. Class: ET. Builder: Pullman Car and Manufacturing Company, No. 681 in 1917 and No. 705 in 1920. DL&W had American Car and Foundry rebuild the cars into electric trailer coaches in 1930. No. 618 renumbered to 2333 and retained this number until NJ Transit assigned No. 4333 to the car. No. 705 became 2357 until renumbered to 4357 on NJ Transit. Revenue history the same as others in the ET class. Acquired from New Jersey Transit Authority in 1985 by Steamtown Foundation.

Lackawanna Railroad during the 1960 merger. Retired in 1972 and purchased by Steamtown Foundation in Vermont. Moved to Scranton, PA, 1984-1985. Some are used on the Steamtown NHS excursion train.

Baggage-Express Car, No. 2065. Class: BE. Builder: American Car and Foundry, 1926. Series 2000-2109. By 1943 assigned to the series 2065 – 2109. (Possibly car is number 2085). 4-wheel trucks, all steel. Interior is steel lined with wood floor. Spent revenue career on the DL&W, part of the 1960 Erie and Lackawanna merger. Repainted and renumbered to EL No. 306 in 1965. Became part of Steamtown Foundation 1985 - 1986.
