Tourism to Steamtown National Historic Site creates $4.3 Million in Economic Benefit
A new National Park Service (NPS) report shows that 84,257 visitors to Steamtown National Historic Site (NHS) in 2014 spent $4,377,400 in communities near the park. That spending supported 72 jobs in the local area and had a cumulative benefit to the local economy of $5,987,100.
