Selma Marchers

On March 9, 1965, Dr. King led 3,200 protesters on a march from Selma to Montgomery but as the marchers were met by Alabama State Troopers in Selmont, AL, Dr. King asked the group to kneel and pray. Shortly after, Dr. King turned the supporters around and returned back to Brown Chapel A.M.E. Church.
