The Oregon Trail Museum Association operates the bookstore at Scotts Bluff National Monument.

NPS - Gant

The Oregon Trail Museum Association bookstore provides visitors a chance to purchase books on local trail history, western Nebraska history, and natural history of the area in addition to an offering of locally made products, postcards, and children’s toys.

When Scotts Bluff National Monument was established in 1919, it was believed to be the highest point in Nebraska. The highest point is actually in Kimball County near the Colorado state line.
