Operating Hours & Seasons

Scotts Bluff National Monument is open seven days a week with the exception of January 1, Martin Luther King Day, President's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and December 25.

Oregon Trail Museum and Visitor Center

Summer Season* - 9 a.m to 5 p.m.

Winter Season (September-May) - 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Summit Road

Summer Season* - 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Winter Season (November-February) - 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The park trails are open from sunrise to sunset throughout the year.

* The Summer Season is from roughly Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, contingent upon staffing. Please contact the park at 308-436-9700 for specific seasonal dates.
