Service Animals

Service animals must be leashed or otherwise under the control of handlers at all times, per ADA requirements. They are allowed in all park facilities and on all park trails unless closed by order of the superintendent. However, Tour Road Stop 10 walking trail is very steep, and Saratoga Monument can only be climbed by means of steep iron stairs; those areas should be avoided.

"Service animal" is defined / explained on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) website.
