Eighth Annual Kite Festival at Castillo San Felipe del Morro
The public is invited to attend and participate in the 8th Annual San Juan National Historic Site Kite Festival on the beautiful historic grounds of Castillo San Felipe del Morro on Sunday, February 26 from 11:00am to 4:00pm.

Grand Opening of Discovery Center at San Juan National Historic Site
Superintendent Walter J. Chavez announces the grand opening of the Discovery Center at San Juan National Historic Site on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 9:30am. The Discover Center, the heart of educational programming for children, is located just a few steps away from the historic entrance of Castillo San Cristobal on Calle Norzagaray, in what was originally a residence for US Army personnel in the 20th Century.

Superintendent Walter J. Chavez announces that entrance fee to Castillo San Felipe del Morro and Castillo San Cristóbal will be waived on January 14-16 for the Martin Luther King,Jr birthday observance.
