Group Tour Reservations
Guided tours of the Theodore Roosevelt home require reservations in advance. For all groups between 11 and 30 people, we require a 10-business day advanced notice to ensure appropriate staffing is available to accommodate your group.
The price is $15 per adult (16 or older). Interagency passes can be used to waive fees.
Group tours are reserved for Wednesdays and Thursday mornings only. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are reserved for the public. If you want a tour of the home, and your group is 30 total persons or fewer, please e-mail us with a description of who you are and your needs.
At the present, we cannot provide tours of the Theodore Roosevelt home to groups larger than 30. Groups may visit the park grounds, see things to know below for ways to explore Sagamore Hill.
Field Trips and Educational Programs

To plan a field trip, please
e-mail us with the following information:
- What are the ages of the youth in your group? Is anyone in your group 16 or older? We charge $10/person for anyone 16 and older.
- Is this trip directly linked to the student’s curriculum or is the visit for entertainment purposes?
- How many total (students and chaperons) will be on the trip?
- Please provide a few dates you had in mind in order of preference.
Things to Know
Sagamore Hill is open daily from sunrise to sunset. During these hours, you may experience the following for free and without reservation:
- Park Grounds
- Nature Trail
- Free Self-Guided Audio Tour with NPS App
- Old Orchard Museum: Thursday – Sunday 11am – 4pm
- Three rooms of exhibits
- Park Store
Roosevelt’s Grave at Youngs Memorial Cemetery is nearby and open to the public.
