Summer Sundays at Sagamore Hill
Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, the home of Theodore Roosevelt in Oyster Bay, Long Island, will present special programs on three Sundays during the months of July and August. Activities will begin behind the park Visitor Center unless otherwise indicated. All programs are free of charge.

Theodore Roosevelt died around 4 o'clock in the morning January 6, 1919 when he was sixty years old. Many dignitaries attended Roosevelt's funeral including Vice-president Thomas Marshall who said that "Death had to take him sleeping, for if Roosevelt had been awake, there would have been a fight."
