Japanese Traditional Performing Arts Celebrated in New Film
(Richmond, CA) – On April 10 and 11, the National Park Service will host a screening of a new documentary film called “Hidden Legacy: Japanese Traditional Performing Arts in the World War II Internment Camps.” The film will be screened at 2 PM on both dates, at the Visitor Education Center of Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park in Richmond, CA.

Women Play the Leading Role in WWII Film Series
(Richmond, CA) – The National Park Service and the Richmond Museum Association announce a new film festival series aboard the SS Red Oak Victory, a beautifully restored cargo ship built in Richmond during World War II. The ship is owned and operated by the Richmond Museum Association and is also part of Rosie the Riveter/WWII Home Front National Historical Park. Admission to the films is free, but there is a suggested donation of $10 to help preserve and maintain the ship.
