USCT Casualties of USCT Units at the Battle of New Market Heights

Note on these figures: these figures reflect all the fighting that occurred 29 September, 1864, not necessarily at the Battle of New Market Heights alone. Those engaged at the Battle of New Market Heights were those of Paine's Division (Draper's, Duncan's, and Holman's Brigades). Since these three brigades were held in reserve during the afternoon assaults on Fort Gilmer, it can be assumed that the majority of their casualties occurred in the morning of 29 September, at the Battle of New Market Heights.
