20TH ANNUAL SAND SCULPTURE CONTEST AT DRAKES BEACH

Point Reyes National Seashore invites you to its 20th Annual Sand Sculpture Contest! Come spend the Sunday of Labor Day Weekend in the sand and sun of Drakes Beach. This all day free event is open to people of all ages. Prizes donated by the Point Reyes National Seashore Association will be awarded in each category. Categories include: Children (14 and under), Families, Adult Individuals, and Adult Groups. Please remember that dogs are not allowed at Drakes Beach, but can be taken to North or South Beaches.

Schedule of Events

9:00 a.m. Registration - at Ken Patrick Visitor Center
1:00 p.m. Judging
3:30 p.m. Prizes awarded in front of Visitor Center
