Point Reyes National Seashore Welcomes 4th Grade Students through Every Kid In a Park Initiative
Point Reyes National Seashore invites all 4th grade students and their families to visit the park as part of the White House’s new Every Kid in a Park program. Starting September 2, 4th grade students can now go to www.everykidinapark.gov to complete an activity and obtain a free annual entry pass to more than 2,000 federal recreation areas, including national parks.

Point Reyes National Seashore Seeks Public Input on Accessibility
Point Reyes National Seashore is seeking public input on a plan designed to ensure that key park experiences are accessible to people of all abilities. All are invited to learn about the Accessibility Transition Plan and provide comments at an open house on Thursday, July 30, 2015, from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at the Bay Model Visitor Center.

Coastal Dune Restoration at Point Reyes National Seashore
Point Reyes National Seashore has completed planning to continue coastal dune restoration to restore up to 600 acres of native dune habitat, a critical link in the park's efforts to strengthen threatened and endangered populations of coastal plant and bird species. The National Park Service has signed a Finding of No Significant Impact for the Coastal Dune Restoration Environmental Assessment to improve and restore coastal dune habitat of critical ecological importance.

Tourism to Point Reyes National Seashore Creates $102 Million in Economic Benefits in 2014
A new National Park Service report shows that the 2.43 million visitors to Point Reyes National Seashore in 2014 spent more than $102 million in communities near the park. That spending supported 1,322 jobs in the local area and had a cumulative benefit to the local economy in excess of $128 million.
