Exploring Elephant Seals!
January 2024 - April 2024
Join a park ranger or a volunteer docent to learn more about these incredible animals that call Point Reyes home for the winter!

This program will be offered upon request on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays at Drakes Beach, dependent on staff availability. Bus parking is available. Programs can be offered in 30 minute or one-hour format.

Skip Section 5 of the form. Fee waivers are not required, as Point Reyes National Seashore does not charge an entrance fee, and educational programs are available at no additional cost.

How to Request a Program for Your Class or Group

  1. Download the Education Reservation Request Form linked above.
  2. Fill out the appropriate sections of the form; please be sure to include at least one alternate date if possible. Save and rename the file to include the name of your school or group.
  3. Email the form to pore_education@nps.gov, including the name of your group in the subject line. A ranger will respond to your request at their earliest opportunity.
