Pipe Spring National Monument Educational Field Trips
Pipe Spring National Monument features Ancestral Puebloan, Paiute, and Mormon pioneer history, as well as diverse plant and animal communities. It’s a wonderful outdoor classroom for school groups.

Entrance Fees
The regular entrance fee is $5.00 per adult (age 16 and older). However, most groups visiting for educational activities will not be charged provided they are sponsored by accredited educational institutions. A fee waiver or fee exemption should be requested three weeks in advance.

•Student Groups 16 years and older: Fee waivers are granted to educational institutions whose curriculum relates specifically to the resources at Pipe Spring National Monument. Applications and guidelines may be obtained by clicking here on Academic Fee Waiver Guidelines & Application (pdf file), or by calling the park at 928-643-7105. Completed applications along with required documentation may be faxed to 928-643-7583, or mailed to Pipe Spring National Monument, HC 65 Box 5, 406 N. Pipe Spring Road, Fredonia, AZ 86022. All applications must be received three weeks prior to anticipated trip. Recreational field trips do not qualify for a fee waiver.

•Student Groups 15 years and younger: Fee exemptions are granted to groups of students 15 years of age and younger, accompanied by adult sponsors. Please send a letter on official school stationary to Pipe Spring National Monument (address above) at least three weeks before your visit. Include the purpose of your visit (educational objectives), the date and time of your visit, and the number of students, chaperones and buses.
