Spike Dropseed is a perennial bunchgrass that grows as tall as 48 inches. It grows during the late spring through the fall. Flowering occurs from June to October It has a dense contracted spike like seed cluster. It’s typical elevation range is 2500 to 6500 feet.

Deseret Alphabet

On January 19, 1854, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints adopted the Deseret alphabet. The new alphabet consisted of 38 to 40 characters and was developed mostly by George D. Watt.  It was an attempt to help simplify spelling in the English Language.
