Gallata Grass
Galleta Grass is a perennial grass 8 to 18 inches tall. It grows during the late spring through the fall. Flowering occurs from May to October. This grass is widespread on the Arizona Strip, in elevations from 3000 to 7000 feet on a variety of soil and range types.
