Palmer’s Penstemon or Beardtongue is a native drought-tolerant perennial. Flowering occurs May through July. The flowers can be pink to violet to blue-purple. The flowers found at Pipe Spring are predominantly white. The elevation range is 3500 to 7500 feet.
