Road Work, Expect Delays
ODOT will be preparing highway 46 for asphalt patching. Please use caution when traveling between the monument and Grayback Campground. Various work will be from continue until July 31, 2014.
Watch for Wildlife
Please be on the lookout for fawns on the section of Caves Highway around Caves Campground! There is at least one very young one that is using the pavement as his transportation corridor.
Volunteer groups can help make enormous strides in reducing lint and trash along the cave tour path, removing invasive plants, and clearing and piling brush. Scheduling a day or half-day of volunteer work for your group can build camaraderie and help your group meet its service goals.

Did You Know?
One of the most spectacular vistas near Oregon Caves is located on Mount Elijah. The hike is strenuous if you start at the monument but the staff at the Visitor Center can direct you to another, less strenuous trail to the mountain.
