You make a difference!

Each year Olympic National Park depends on volunteers to accomplish our mission of serving park visitors and protecting park resources for future generations.

Volunteers In Parks (VIP's) support the park in many ways. Last year we had a total of 56,000 hours and over 1,600 VIP's. Visitor education, trail/facilities maintenance, and wilderness management have all had programs supported by volunteers. For international volunteers, there are special requirements, find out more here.
