Oil Region National Heritage Area is located in northwestern Pennsylvania. Commuter air service lands at the Venango Regional Airport in Franklin, Pennsylvania at the center of the Oil Region. Vehicle drivers who access Exits 29, 35, 42, and 45 of I-80 immediately enter the southern edge of the Oil Region National Heritage Area. This walleye of 11+ pounds was caught in the Allegheny River during the annual Buddy Bass Tournament held by the Oil Region Alliance.
