Indoor Activities

The Obed Wild and Scenic River Visitor Center houses several displays that tell the story of the cultural and natural history of the area, as well as the recreational elements that have made the river famous.  A fishtank in the Visitor Center is home to several bluegills, shiners and dartners that are found in the river.  A small bookshop is also located in the Visitor Center, offering an assortment of titles, maps, postcards, etc.  Each year, different special events are held inside the Visitor Center.  Please click on the Schedule of Events icon for current information as to the dates and times that the events are offered.
