During Victorian times, various flowers had unique meanings and were used to communicate different sentiments. Ruth and Abby will explore this language of flowers and will provide materials for visitors to make bookmarks using dried flowers on AHA! (Art, History, Architecture) night, Thursday, March 12, from 6:00-8:00 PM. This month's AHA! theme is Hand to Hand. The event takes place at New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park's visitor center, 33 William Street, downtown New Bedford. As always, the event is open to all, and admission is free.
