On May 13, 2009, minor repair work will begin on bridges along the Natchez Trace Parkway from milepost 320 to 425 within Alabama and Tennessee. The expansion joints in the bridge decks will be repaired, which could cause single-lane closures. Visitors may experience short delays while work is being done. Work should be completed by August 1, 2009.

Travelers can expect to see construction personnel and equipment, and are asked to exercise caution while traveling through this area.

Questions related to this work can be directed to the Parkway’s Acting Chief of Maintenance, Dale Wilkerson, at (662) 680-4006.
