KEYSTONE, SD - Beginning Sunday August 14, 2011, the Evening Lighting Ceremony at Mount Rushmore National Memorial will transition to an earlier start time of 8:00 pm. The last evening lighting ceremony of the season will be held September 30, 2011. The sculpture will be lit at dusk for one hour starting October 1, and that will continue nightly throughout the winter months. Also beginning August 14, the Information Center and the Lincoln Borglum Visitor Center will be closing at 9:00 pm.
