Description: This attractive plant occurs naturally in seasonally wet prairies.

Plants up to 3' tall with stalked, alternate compound leaves. Each leaf is divided into 3 parts, and each part is often further divided into 3 leaflets. The leaflets are up to 3" long and a little over 1" wide, with evenly toothed edges. There are several 1-1/2 inch clusters of bright yellow flowers growing in an open mounded form with lush, heart shaped foliage that is attractive all summer.

Flowers bloom from May to June.
