- WINTER HOURS: Tours are available Tuesday through Friday 1:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Museum Shop Hours: Monday 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 10:45 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

- SUMMER SCHEDULE: July and August, tours will be offered 7 days a week, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with evening tours until 7:15 p.m. on Thursdays.

All of our tours will be offered every day. (Getting By, Piecing it Together, The Moores, The Confino Family, Immigrant Soles Walking Tour)

- Advance reservations are recommended but not required.

John Slater House, Slatersville, RI  

Did You Know?
After opening America's first successful textile mill, Samuel Slater also helped establish America's first mill village. Slatersville, in North Smithfield, RI, began operations in 1807. His brother John Slater, who lived in the white house seen here, ran the village for almost 40 years.
