Lassen Volcanic National Park Road Opens to Bumpass Hell Parking Area – Visitors Looking to “Hike” Lassen Peak Will Find a Snow-covered Trail
The main park road through Lassen Volcanic National Park will open to the Bumpass Hell parking area on Saturday, June 18. The Lassen Peak trail is open to over-the-snow travel until trail crews begin work on the trail. The trail will be open to the summit on three weekends this summer.
