The Story of Lake Mead Lodge

The Lake Mead Lodge, originally known as Hualapai Lodge, was located on the western shore (map) of Lake Mead. It was built in the 1930s in response to the need for overnight lodging for recreationalists in this area. Its story, including eventual demolition follows. more
