June 19, 2015 All Open Fires Prohibited in Lake Clark National Park & Preserve
Lake Clark National Park and Preserve is banning the use of all open fires until further notice, including any form of wood or charcoal-based fire, even in established fire rings. Open fire restrictions will be lifted when areas receive at least 1/4 inch of precipitation and/or when fire danger moderates.
