Kids become a Kings Mountain NMP Junior Ranger. The Junior Ranger program is designed for kids ages 5 and up. Stop by the front desk to pick up your activity booklet or download a copy here. Upon completion you will receive a patch, badge and cerfiticate. Junior Ranger Motto: Explore, Learn, and Protect.

Women participated in the battle at Kings Mountain and the Kings Mountain campaign. Two women fought here with Ferguson, one was killed. Also, Mary Patton of Tennessee made the gunpowder used by the Americans.
