150th Anniversary of the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain
The commemoration will begin Thursday evening with an opening ceremony at the park. On Friday visitors can experience living history demonstrations, battlefiled tours, and much more. Friday's programs will culminate with concert by The Claire Lynch Band, accompanied by Bobby Horton. Download Thursday/Friday's program.

In the spring and summer of 1864, some of the most important events to affect the outcome of the Civil War occurred in North Georgia. Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield commemorates these events, as well as preserving the battleground of Kennesaw Mountain. The Mountain's history precedes the Civil War.
