Artistic skills

July 26, 2012 Posted by: Zarek

What stood out to me today was my improvement towards my artistic skills.  This stood out to me today because in the past I was horrible at shading.   Over the years, I would try to find many solutions in order for my shading skills to improve, but it didn't really work for me.  Today, though, I mastered the art of shading which creates the main concept of art.

Your work will develop the more and more you practice. When your drawings look real-you know you have arrived.

You give me the motivation to improve my own drawing skills. It can be done. It is just like any skill. The more you practice and reflect, the more you improve. I always say that I can't draw. Of course, I can, but I need to get better. Kudos to you for, forging ahead. Keep it up.

Art and writing, very much alike. You have to keep working to master the skill. What a great feeling when you reach even one step of success. Also remember that different people get different messages from art and writing. Only you are the true judge of your work. I would love to see the art work you have completed. Happy Summer.

Good job Zarek. Now, if you get to where you can figure out why nothing in the world is black and white, right or wrong, good or bad, but everything is somewhere in that shaded area, let me know...
