The Ice Age Trail provides visitors an opportunity to enjoy many rewarding experiences as it meanders through towns both large and small. It connects a host of natural areas from valleys to hilltops, prairies to forests, and everything in between. There is something for everyone to enjoy in each changing season!

The Ice Age Trail is built and maintained by volunteers organized into 21 local chapters who annually give over 45,000 hours of their time!
