Lady's Foxhunting Jacket, Boots, and Hat
Baltimore, London, and Philadelphia
Ladies of the Ridgely family actively participated in riding and foxhunting activities in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is hard to image today that a lady could have been comfortable jumping fences on horseback while wearing in a tightly fitted jacket lined with stays.
